These Printhead cables are double layered and compatible with Mimaki JV33, JV5, and Mutoh Valuejet printers. They are 40cm (16") in length. When head cables get dirty, bent or stripped, you'll get printheads that will misfire or stop working altogether - and then you'll have one expensive repair. You hear this all the time - cables that short out the printhead or worse, cause damage to the expensive Head Board or Carriage Board. Official Mimaki documents say that the life of cables is between 5-10 insert/removal cycles. We know that you can get more life if you are careful in handling these but the fact is that the delicate foil leads get damaged over time from each removal cycle. If you notice ANY damage (bent connector, dirty leads, even the slightest nick to the cable), change out the cable immediately. It's much cheaper to replace cables than to deal with a broken head board or printhead!

Note: This cable product comes in a pair. JV33/JV5 - The pair of cables is clipped on one end. Mutoh valuejet - The pair of cables is not clipped on neither ends. Please specify which machine you have in the customer comments when you check out your cart.
